The cost of energy is on the rise. Rates for electricity and gas just keep sky rocketing. It seems like the money you make, goes out faster than it comes in! The bills just pile up. There does seem to be at least one smart alternative to this problem. You can harvest your own solar and wind energy to help offset your expenses. Maybe you can find something better to spend your hard earned money on. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Let me tell you a little bit about Power4home. Not only is there the potential for great savings but it is also very environment friendly. As if that is not already enough of a reason to start creating your own solar and wind energy, there is another benefit. If you are to generate more energy than you actually use, you are entitled to a refund by your power company. How neat is that? So essentially, not only are you saving money and helping the environment, you may be making money in the process!
?
An electrician by the name of John Russell invented power4home. He used his years of expertise and experience in the electricity field and came up with a solution to the ever rising cost of energy. His system allows you to harvest your own energy with a very small investment and with very little equipment . This system is now easily available to anyone who wants to buy it and utilize it. You will notice a huge savings as soon as you have this system installed.
When you begin shopping for a home energy system, you will find that most of them are extremely expensive. It would take you quite awhile to make up for your initial investment. With power4home, you can have it installed and working for just about $200.00. Let’s face it, you would probably make that up within the first month! Not only is this product going to save you money but it could possibly even make you money. Save money and protect the environment. Who loses?
?
You can choose solar energy or wind energy, or both even, depending on where you live. If you live in Chicago, known for being the “Windy City”, you might choose the windmill option. If you live in sunny South Florida, you would probably benefit from the solar panel. Even you really want to make sure you get the highest yield of energy, you could even use both. Either way, I see no reason not to give it a try. I highly recommend it. What have you got to lose?

Ethanol fuel is actually a high octane alcohol, that many drivers have converted their cars to be fueled by. Plus people love the extra push it gives their cars when they speed up. Not to mention it is far cheaper than gasoline. Aside from being cheaper, having more power, and being safer, it also keeps engines cleaner than gasoline. Ethanol is even being used by shipping corporations now, because it is saving them tons of money every year on transportation. Now it is popularly sold as E85, which means 85% percent Ethanol, the other 15% is gasoline.

The popular method of making Ethanol is by extracting it from corn. This helps a country which is currently in a terrible economic recession. A lot of people speculate the war has more to do with oil than terrorists, and therefore it would end a war as well. Whether this true or not, there is denying that using oil for fuel. It even appears that there is no end in sight to the rising prices of gasoline. All of the countries in the world are afflicted by this same crisis, and it is not going to anywhere anytime soon.

It definitely seems as if someone should be taking the necessary steps to fix this crisis . Well in fact , there are global plans to start using ethanol in the near future, and maybe even hydrogen in the next 50 years. Some skeptics say that it costs too much to make the ethanol from corn, and so therefore it is not worth the change. They say there are other ways of getting energy cheaper and are even more efficient and abundant then ethanol. If you support alternate energy, but you don’t know which method you think is the best, then make sure you check out all of the great info on this site. I am sure you will find plenty of helpful info here.

Power 4 Home is dedicated to helping homeowners lower, or even eliminate their monthly electrical bills. The website has a lot of information on the best way to choose and install a system that will save you as much money as possible.

Power 4 Home was started by a gentleman that made his living as an electrician and really knows about power and power generation. After he quit his job he decided to start testing and developing different power generating systems. He then took all the information he learned about this technology and shared it.

Power 4 Home makes the claim that you can reduce your power bill by more than 80% and is backed up by customer testimonials. They give specific examples of their savings and really add credibility to the information presented on the site.

You can find some videos on the Power 4 Home website that show a few homeowner built energy systems that were installed based on the details found on their website. These are really helpful to understand how the technology might fit into your particular needs and how it might look in your yard or on your home.

Power 4 Home will tell you how to build both wind and solar generators. These plans allow you to build your own solar panel for less than $100. You can find plans on their site that will show you how to construct a wind turbine for under $50. These are significant savings over purchasing these systems brand new, and if you know how to build these two items you will spend thousands of dollars less. Power 4 Home lists different places you can find some of components for you system for free. Components such as towers and batteries can be found at local sources and they will show you where to find them.

Power 4 Home also offers some very effective ways to reduce your energy consumption as well. By conserving how much power you use, you will have to generate less to replace it. If you take steps to conserve energy and use a wind or solar power system you will be taking the best possible steps to eliminating your electricity dependancy.

There are three guides sold that will lay out detailed diagrams and construction plans, and give you a list of parts for your project. These manuals will give you great advice on finding inexpensive parts and how to build your system. There is even a guide on how to apply for rebate and tax incentives for this alternative energy technology. Applying for these rebates can provide you with additional money and help lower the cost of your installation even more.

Using the information and source listings in these books can save you thousands of dollars and help you eliminate mistakes than could cost you even more. The are worth every penny and will get you well on your way to freedom from you energy bills.

Wind is one of the most readily available and environment-friendly alternative sources of energy. With the use of modern technology, homemade wind power has been introduced as an easily harnessed energy source especially to those who are living in the country or on a large track of land.

This renewable energy source actually makes up 20% of the total energy output of a country like Denmark. Hence, home wind power answers to the need for renewable and inexhaustible energy sources.

Generating power from wind actually does have its flaws. At times, the wind can become very strong or very weak. Hence, wind could be an unstable and variable source of energy.

Although the wind is unreliable at times, it still holds a number of advantages. For one thing, it does not harm the environment. It does not produce the greenhouse gases like coal-based power plants. Hence, it eases off the dependence on energy sources that are greatly accounted to the global warming and climate change, of which the effects we are suffering today.

Wind power is renewable and inexhaustible. In addition, wind is one of the cleanest sources of energy. That is why wind power generators generally do not require maintenance.

Given the significant advantages that wind energy brings, many country homes are still reluctant in using wind generators. They easily get overwhelmed by the cost of setting up wind power equipment. Another reason would be the lack of awareness on its significant benefits.

In truth, home wind power systems do come at a cost. One assembly can cost as much as $1000. However, its return value can be fast. Imagine the savings by cutting down your utility costs. Imagine years of paying the minimum charge on your electricity bills.

If you do not have the money to purchase a home wind power generator, you can choose to make your own. All you need is a trip down to your local hardware store and get all the needed materials to fabricate your own wind turbines.

To enjoy more savings, you can fabricate your own wind turbines from scrap materials. Take a trip down to the nearest junk shop and scout for some good pieces of metal and PVC pipes for your turbines. The efficiency will not be as good though.

To the get right instructions on how to make your own wind generators, science books and instructional manuals provide great learning avenues. It is not that hard to build your very own homemade wind power generator.

As the hot topic of the impending necessity for the United States to develop domestic resources for alternative energy is discussed, many companies are refining their roles in the energy industry to strive toward a common goal of providing the U.S. with independence from foreign fuel sources while reducing the negative impact traditional energy conversion has had on the global environment. The most obvious sources of renewable energy that can be harnassed and converted to heat and electricity for commercial and residential use are solar energy, wind energy and oceanic wave energy.

Another valuable source of potential energy is the process of extracting natural hot water reservoirs from the earths underlayers and pumping them to the earth’s surface to be used as insulating conduit inside of walls and floors. This process is called geothermal energy, and was first tested for viability in 1904 in Italy, although to date, only 1% of the worlds total energy use is being propagated by geothermal technology. Currently the world’s largest geothermal energy plant is located north of San Francisco in California. The power plant taps into the Geysers as it’s source of renewable energy and is responsible for providing 60 percent of all of the energy consumed by the coastal region of California.

Geothermal energy is extremely cost effective, in that no method of heating the water is necessary, there is no purchasing of fuel required and there is an unlimited heat source deep in the earth’s mantle. The only cost involved in the use of geothermal energy is in construction of the power plants necessary for boring into the earth and the equipment required for extraction of the energy source. Furthermore, the processing of geothermal energy creates no dangerous emissions. There is a mild environmental argument that holds that if geothermal energy is mined for on a mass scale, there may be considerable damage done to the outer layers of the earth’s crust, which can eventually affect the plate tectonics of our planet. As the technology advances, though, less invasive methods for extracting the necessary components will make this form of energy more ecologically feasible and available on a wide basis.

Geothermal energy can be harvested for use in several forms. The hot beds under the earths outer layers contain hot water, gas and molten rock, all of which can be “mined”, so to speak, and used in their various forms to heat homes, commercial buildings, and public walkways to prevent snow and ice build up.

When converted correctly, geothermal energy produces no polluting emmisions into the water or air environments. Also among the benefits of geothermal energy production are the traits of the energy power plants themselves, which generally only require a small building footprint and are a self-sufficient source of energy that has little impact on the landscape environment.

As is the case with any new form of energy, or new process for harnessing energy, it is of vital importance that steps are taken to insure the proper drilling and conversion of geothermal energy. Improper drilling can release hazardous chemical and gases from the earth which can be potentially dangerous to surrounding life as well as the overall atmosphere.

It is almost impossible these days to turn on the news or open a paper without hearing or reading about the need for future alternative energy. With the cost of fuel skyrocketing and the adverse environmental impact of fossil fuels it is becoming critical that we look for alternative ways to provide the power that we need for our day-to-day lives. You might ask, “So what can I do as an individual home owner to help?” The answer is to reduce your demand for electricity from the power grid. There are two ways of doing this:

    1. The first is to learn ways to conserve electricity in your home.

    2. The second is to learn ways to generate electricity at your residence. In times past, the cost to do this for the individual home owner was cost prohibitive, but with the Federal Energy Tax Credit of 30% it is becoming much more cost effective. In addition to the 30% Federal Energy Tax Credit, many states and local power companies offer further incentives that reduce the initial cost of these systems even further.

The one source of alternative energy that is available to all of us is the Sun. No matter where we live, we have this resource available to us free of charge. The challenge is in converting this free resource into electricity. A residential solar power system is the best way to do this.

The first step in determining if A Residential Solar Power System is right for you is to see if you fit into one of the following 4 categories:

    1. You want to lower your average electric bill.

    2. You have an interest in reducing your dependence on your utility company.

    3. You would like to reduce the environmental impact of electricity production.

    4. A grid connection is not available in your area or can be made only through an expensive line extension. (The cost of running a power line to the utility grid at a remote site can be prohibitive, ranging from $15,000 to more than $50,000 per mile, depending upon the terrain.)

Secondly, there are 3 location factors to consider when determining whether you have a site that is appropriate for Solar Panels.

    1. If you live in the Northern Hemisphere your site must have southern exposure. For maximum daily power output, Solar Panels should be exposed to the sun for as much of the day as possible, especially during the peak sun hours of 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    2. The site must be free of obstructions such as trees, mountains, and buildings that might shade the panels. Consider both summer and winter paths of the sun, as well as the growth of trees and future construction that may cause shading problems.

    3. You also have appropriate terrain and sufficient space to install the solar system. (A lot of people with south facing roof tops put them there instead of taking up yard space).

If you fit into one of the 4 categories and you meet all of the location factors then you need to ensure:

    1. You have a strategy for meeting your energy needs during times of darkness or in really bad weather.

    2. Your state or utility provides for electricity net metering, which allows you to connect your system with your utility and sell any excess electricity to your utility.

The sun is a free resource that provides unlimited potential. If you fit into one of the 4 Categories and your location meets all of the location factors then you should seriously consider installing a Residential Solar Power System. Once you learn how to tap into this resource you will greatly reduce your dependence on the power grid while reducing, if not eliminating, your average monthly electric bill.

Getting or building a wind power generator for home use is quickly becoming an attractive option for many environmentally conscious homeowners. Alternative energy sources are looking quite feasible in helping to alleviate both environmental damage and fuel shortage related to the use of fossil fuels. If we manage to develop these budding fields properly, we may eventually wean ourselves off of our reliance on coal, oil, and gas. This will not only stabilize our power generation, but also result in many benefits to the environment as we use renewable, green ways of making energy. Thus, the need for a wind power generator for home use.

These electricity generators are becoming more and more commonplace as people install more of them both on large and small scales. They are machines that can convert the natural breeze-induced mechanical movements into electricity. Thus, they only need this force of nature to produce energy, which is free, essentially unlimited or renewable, and all natural. This basic concept of harnessing the energy all around us is what lies behind any good renewable energy source.

Some background on the concept behind using a wind power generator for home use would be useful to have. Generators work by transforming physical motion, usually rotation, into electricity using strong permanent magnets. Turbines then work on the same essential principle, using natural flows to turn blades, which then produce electricity in conjunction with magnets. Both direct and alternating current may be produced by generators (for AC, the term used is usually alternator instead of generator, but the concept is basically the same). The electricity produced can then be wired to devices for immediate usage, stored in batteries, or even wired back into the power grid for other users.

Most renewable energy sources require a higher capital outlay than conventional fossil fuel power generation. This is because the technology for these new energy sources is much younger and less understood and developed than the older technologies. However, as interest in these sources continues, technological and engineering developments should make costs more manageable. In fact, at present, many systems are already being made available for residential use. This is why it is relatively easy to get your hands on a homemade windmill/turbine.

Of course, harnessing the breeze would not necessarily be efficient for every single home and location. There needs to be, first and foremost, enough available space for the turbine. The amount of space and clearance required varies from setup to setup: some can be mounted on roofs while others need freestanding towers. Remember that the strength of this force of nature would also not be constant throughout the year, meaning other sources must also be used. Getting a wind power generator for home use is still a great, green idea, however.

Are you thinking about tapping into solar power for home needs? It would actually be a good choice, considering the cost of electricity nowadays. Solar power for home use has been getting quite popular mainly because of the Internet and availability of materials.

Do not get the impression that it needs an engineer to put one together. The designs have already been made and can be downloaded from sites off the Internet. All you need to do is gather the materials that you can also purchase online or from Do-It-Yourself establishments or hardware stores within your area. If you know how to make a screwdriver and a drill work, then you are in business.

Something you must do before building your arrays is to make sure you have the space for it. You can either install them on the roof or in the backyard of your house. The important thing is to clear areas around your panels from obstructions so that you can harvest the sun’s rays on a full cycle from sunrise to sunset. This system will still work on cloudy days, but it will just take longer to charge.

Another thing that you might find nice about using solar power for home usage is that it is a clean and renewable source of energy. This means that it cannot be depleted and that it does not emit any harmful by-products that may add damage to the environment, unlike conventional sources of energy we use today. Your project can also be scalable. Meaning that depending on your budget and needs, you can make panels to adjust to your requirements.

Let us say you need solar power for home appliances in the kitchen alone or just in your room. You can build an array just for that. If you choose to be totally independent from the electric company, then you can build a vast array of cells or make them modular per area. You can do this by computing the amount of energy you consume from the appliances that you use, and then create a system that will be slightly over that. This is to accommodate anything you might use in between that is not part of your regular usage.

The cost to put up panels for average households would set you back anywhere from $10,000 to $15,000. If you made them yourself, the same production capacity would be far less than $500. But whichever option you choose, it will still pay off in the long run as compared to being hooked up to your local electric company.

You can even perhaps look at it from an investment point of view when you put up solar power for home requirements, wherein if you generate excess for your needs, you can sell it back to the electric company for them to use in other households within your area.

When you think about renewable energy for your home, what do you think of first? If you are like most people, you think about home solar power. The media has gotten us to the point that we are very familiar with the concept of solar energy, and that we can use this technology to provide electricity for our homes.

You need to understand that there are some big advantages to using home solar power instead of conventional electricity suppliers. Solar power is reliable, it is clean, it needs minimal maintenance, and once the system is set up, it is free.

Reliable

Having a reliable power source can be a big deal. We have all heard reports of a storm moving through an area and knocking out the power grid, several days later there are still people that are waiting for electric service to be returned to their area. In the meantime, all of the food in their refrigerators and freezers has gone bad, and if they have a well for water, they are not even able to get the water out of the ground.

If you were using solar energy for your electricity, when the storm passed and the sun returned, your power would be restored. That is the great thing about home solar power; as long as the sun is shining, you are producing electricity.

Clean

With increasing concern about the state of our environment, more attention is being focused on clean forms of energy. Relying on coal or gas to power electric plants can pump a lot of pollutants into the air. Even if your not convinced about man’s role in climate change, everyone will agree that the pollutants are bad for the environment, and for the people that live around those plants.

Solar energy relies on an internal chemical process that converts energy from light into electricity. There are no toxins that are released, and nothing that will in any way affect the environment or any people or animals that get near the solar panels. They are completely safe.

Easy to Maintain

Solar panels have no moving parts, so there is nothing that will wear out. The extent of the maintenance that is required is to make sure the panels are kept clean, and occasionally cleaning the wire terminals. That’s it. You do not have to worry about the system breaking down, or finding someone that can provide replacement parts

Cost

This is the best part. Once you pay the initial cost of building your system, or purchasing a pre-made system and having it installed, the system does not cost a thing to operate. The electricity it produces is free, and it can greatly reduce your monthly electric bill. In fact, if your solar generator makes enough electricity, it can actually make your meter run backwards.

Using home solar power for your electric needs makes a lot of sense. You can still run your appliances and watch television, but you will have the peace of mind in knowing that you are using a clean, free energy source.

World populations keep on increasing on this plant. We in the process of human-being civilization, simply lost our precocious natural resources too much and too fast. It is important for all of us to solve this critical issue that help to maintain our living environment. Saving natural resources such as electricity, water, gas and so on are not only benefit future generations but also could effectively preserve mother earth and all living creatures in this beautiful and marvelous world.

Whatever you live in a tiny city flat or beautiful villa at countryside, but we surly have the same mind set to save our home energy bills. However, daily busy life routine might drag us forget the issues. Recently, I just reminded by a very useful TV educational program and I decided to discover the most efficient ways to saving home electricity instead of using solar energy.

Out of my surprise, there are already some terrific inventions in the market. Indeed, most solar energy products are not that expensive to invest. You will find out they are effective and practical just in a glance.

Solar home lighting: A very useful lighting system that converts solar energy into electrical energy. The solar lighting system works via cells which are charged with solar energy. The solar cells save solar energy during daytime and convert into electricity to lighting up your house at night.

Solar heating system: In winter, our home energy bill increases crazily because we use heating system or equipments at home. Install a solar heating system would relief your burden and make everyone enjoy winter than ever. Those solar energy system companies provide designed solar power heating solutions for homes to ensure the installation of aesthetically-pleasing heating systems in a very reasonable price. With this wonderful investment in your sweet home, you can save energy, protect environment and get your return within 3-4 years.

Solar cooker: If you love cooking at home, then solar cooker is a real saving for your family. This special designed solar cooking utensil can be used for boiling, roasting and baking. It is uses absolutely no fuel for cooking. Thus, the solar cooker defiantly helps to reduce your home energy bills.

Today, our world is in a serious economic crisis since World War II. We also need to face inflation on all of our bills all the time. What can we do to efficiently save money from home energy? Personally, I’ve been search for useful methods for quite some time.

We learned from young in school about the renewable and non-renewable sources of energy. Through the time, we seldom pay attention on this topic anymore. Actually, we can reduce the rapid consumption of the non-renewable sources of energy at home to save money.

Tips of saving energy at home.

Lighting: Generally, we have lighting in every home. So let’s start from the basic. The powerful but costing saving compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs can assure that you only using minimum amount power. However, you will find this kind of light bulb is more expensive than the normal ones. After sometime to use it, the performance of the CFL bulbs will be self- proved.

Computer: Nowadays, our household has a few computers. And we and children don’t switch off our PC, or monitor even after use it.Thus we simply waste the power even everyday.

A few years ago if someone were to tell you that you could produce electricity on your own to power all the appliances in your home, chances are that you would have laughed at the suggestion. The advent of homemade wind power has made this seemingly impossible task, a reality. In fact an increasing number of people are switching over to harnessing wind power these days. Apart from saving on energy bills, you will be also contributing your might towards the protection of our environment, when you use homemade wind power.

Generating homemade wind power has also become a lot easy these days. This is because, with supplies from a neighborhood hardware store, you can easily build your own windmill. Here are some proven tips for building a domestic windmill.

Tip#1: You should first of all select a place in your house, where the windmill can take advantage of direct air movement. While building your windmill, you should take care to ensure that the windmills blades are designed to catch wind currents with minimum of resistance or friction. This will ensure that you generate enough homemade wind power for powering all your home appliances.

Tip#2: Another important aspect that you should take care while trying to build your own windmill is to ensure that the windmill footing is quite strong. Concrete is your best choice when it comes to building the base of the windmill.

Tip#3: Make sure that you build the windmill tower with a sturdy material such as tubular steel or strong plastic.

Tip#4: Get a good guide on the topic to help you with the windmill building process. There are many guides available these days on how to generate homemade wind power. You can easily build your own windmill by following the step by step instructions, which are a common feature with usually almost all the guides.

“Who Else Wants To Create Their Own Electricity And Laugh At Rising Energy Prices While Saving The Environment And Having The Electricity Company Pay You?”

Solar power panels are one of the easiest and least expensive solutions of reducing your electricity dependency. A solar panel is a device that can convert solar energy to electricity. It is an effective alternative energy source. It is also referred to as an eco-friendly source of energy. To date, more and more people are considering its potential and importance.

With energy resources declining fast and the cause climate change across the globe, many people tend to look towards renewable energy for one or both of the same reason that is; the primary source of energy is becoming costlier. By building your own homemade solar panels, you can have a never-ending quest for energy sources while saving money and helping the environment.

Now a day, the most effective way to provide solar power for homes is to build your own solar panels. You don’t need to spend a huge amount of money in building your own solar panel. You only need to buy several materials which are available in most hardware stores such as a square foot of copper flashing and other materials that you need are electric shears to be used in customizing the sheet, plywood, glass, solar cells, wire, silicon, solder, sandpaper and UV protector.

When building a solar panel, you will learn other things such as how to design and build PV panels, customize panel output, solder cell connections, and wire a photovoltaic panel. In addition to that, you will learn how to work with broken cells, test and rate PV cells and even encapsulate solar cells and repair their damages. For instructions, you can search the net where you will find numerous easy steps plus other important pointers.

But how does a solar panel work? Well it is really simple. It collects the energy of the sun. The sun radiates light energy which is captured by your solar collector and it focuses this energy to a photovoltaic cell, which converts it into electricity. Usually these solar panels are connected to a battery which stores the energy so you can use the power of the sun even at the middle of night! I hope you can see the point of learning how to build homemade solar panels!

Today, due to subprime mortgage crisis,A lot of families are trying to save money.Installing solar energy is an excellent option for them. You can kiss the electric company good-bye.With homemade solar power system you can potentially cut your electricity costs by 85%, and in some cases even completely eliminate them.

Home solar power is one area we can make use of the unlimited energy from the sky, by building our own solar power system and feed it into our electric power system. You can easily build a home solar power system with professional guides. You no longer need a service professional coming to your home for design and installation of the whole system. With about 5 hours spent on it and $170 invested, You will have your own solar power system.

It has been seen that three ways of effectively using solar power at home can be sought out:

1 Solar power being a non-conventional power source and moreover, derived directly from the sun is relatively cheaper than all other power sources. As long as we can keep the one time installation cost low, we can easily recover it and get the return in 60-85% saving in monthly electric bill.

2 Solar power is important source of green, renewable energy. With your homemade solar power system you will be able to produce your own environmentally friendly home made electricity.

3. Good education for our community on environmental conservation- When we start doing it, our neighbour will start to see the benefit, and they will follow too. More and more people will do the same and this is going to have a big effect, while everybody just doing a small part.

It has been said time and time again we are all blessed with natural resources. But beyond this, we are all also contains resources necessary for the mass production of power, many of which are renewable, meaning that they are easily replaceable. Among these renewable resources that are widely used is wind power. This resource could lessen our dependence on mostly foreign fossil fuels and help our dream of self-sufficiency.

Due to the increasing amount of hazardous particles emission like carbon dioxide, scientist reported that the earth’s state is extremely changing from bad to worst, and that lead environmentalist to spend most of their time delve into possible ways on how to reduce the harmful particles in the earth atmosphere. And one of the popular is Home Wind Power Generator is becoming more desirable as people find there way to proper utilization of energy. So if you are careworn thinking your electricity dues. You will find here the best suitable solution. Homemade wind power generators were created to fit your homes.

This widely used alternative source of energy now comes for as low as $200. And you can have it as fast as you want just like a week end project. Wind power generator comes into different sizes, color, and styles but carries a common similarity. They are all made up with blades, towers and generators. Learning how to make a homemade wind power generator is cheap and easy. You can furnish an online step-by-step instructional manual or even watch a video tutorial being offered by producers for free. Also, there are free online book that contains many interviews with experts who share their advice and training methods. This may help you in technical areas.

Now, what are the things you should take into consideration before building your homemade wind power generator? First, consider the place where you want to build your wind power generator. A spacious backyard is advisable, provided that there are no big walls around the wind power generator, for it might affect the blades to work properly. In order to make the most of it, the strength and speed of the wind is one of the main factors. Because the power generated by a blade is highly dependent on wind speed. The greater the blades move, the greater the generated power. If you are certain enough that you have the place to put up with, then, start building your own and save immediately.

The use of wind energy is one of the most environmental friendly resources available and you will be able to cut your electricity bill. And one of the great things about this renewable energy is that, it requires very little maintenance and can be located in remote sites and nonpolluting.

Check out any new building and you will be surprised to note an aluminum stand containing a shiny and brown colored material with wires running down its side. Since this gadget points at a special angle towards the sky, most people think that it must be some expensive gadget meant to survey the sky. Others think that it must be some special radar for tracking the movement of planets. For the uninitiated, it is an array of photovoltaic cells that provide solar power for home. Recently more and more people are installing this gadget in their buildings in order to harness the free rays of the sun and use it to generate free electricity power for their home.

Thanks to the increase in fuel costs, the costs per unit of power is increasing every few months. This is creating an insurmountable burden for most people who are already feeling a crunch in their pockets due to the massive recession. The world is comprised of two types of people. One group consists of the foolish and the other consists of wise people. While the foolish ones meekly pay their electric bills and if required they sacrifice by turning off some lights and other electrical gadgets in their home. You shall never find such panels in residences occupied by such people. The other group, comprising of wise men have installed such panels in their homes.

They know that they can use these panels to generate free electricity that can be used to drive the electric equipments in their house. They also know that the power derived from these panels does not cost any money. They only have to make an initial investment for the panel, prices of which are falling at a rapid pace. While the current generation of solar cells does not have the capability to convert more than 30% of sunlight they are exposed to, scientists all over the world are experimenting to produce photovoltaic cells that will provide more power per square meter of photovoltaic cells. These cells are available in knocked down kits and anyone with a basic knowledge of soldering can join them together and mount them on the provided aluminum panel.

Once this preliminary task has been done, they have to set up the panel in such a way so that it is exposed to maximum sunlight during the course of the day. This ensures that they can derive maximum current from these cells. These cell arrays can be either used directly to power electric equipment during daytime, or the power generated by them can be stored in lead cells and be later used at night. The low cost of such solar kits makes them a hit with most people and most of them recover their expenses within a few months in the form of low utility bills. Since these kits contain a comprehensive and illustration setup manual, anyone can install them and use it to provide solar power for home. You too should install one today.

One of the top home renewable energy guides on the web right now is John Russel’s Power4 Home e-book. The manual has been selling by the hundreds of copy every month.

Even though it is a best seller, many people are still not very sure about the manual. Some even think Power4Home is nothing but a scam.

So what is Power4Home? The writer of the DIY solar energy guide is John Russel. John is a 46 year old home energy expert from Minnesota. John wrote the manual with one goal:- to teach people how to reduce their home energy consumption without spending a lot of money.

In the home solar guide, Power4Home promised to show its reader how to make a DIY solar panel with a budget of less than $200. Can it be done?

If you are willing to follow the instructions in the e-book to the letter, chances are, you will be able to make the solar module for less than $150.

However, before you make any decision, be prudent. Do not believe everything you read on the internet. Contrary to what the sale copy may say in the web site, building your own solar module is not an easy task. It takes a lot of time, patience and dedication.

You will also need to have some basic knowledge of electrical components and diagram. You must have some carpentry skill and know how to use a multi-meter and a soldering iron. These are the prerequisite skills required to complete a DIY solar panel project at the suggested budget.

Nonetheless, if you are facing the issue of high home energy bill, your best option right now is to supplement your home energy needs with solar power. To harness the free energy from the sun, the cheapest solution is with a homemade solar power system. The Power4Home e-book provides all the instructions and blueprint you’ll need.

One of the most popular home solar and wind power guide on the internet is John Russel’s Power 4 Home e-book. Even with hundreds of copy sold each and every month, many people are still not convinced by what the manual preaches.

It is understandable many people think Power 4 Home is nothing but a scam. Are there any ways to prove the legitimacy of the e-book? One way is to check the accurate of the information.

If you were to study the Power4Home sales page, it promised that you can build a DIY solar panel for less than $200. Can it be done or is it just a scam?

If a normal person were to follow the instructions in the manual and managed to build a solar module for less than $200, that would prove that the e-book is legit.

Then again, if a person is unable to meet the budget after following the instruction, wouldn’t that prove Power 4 Home is a fraud?

The key here is to double check the figure.

In Power 4 Home, the budget suggested for a DIY solar panel is $98.20. The largest material cost is the Photovoltaic (PV) cells which is $67.50.

The solar panel shown in John Russel’s e-book consists of 36 pieces of 3 x 6 solar cells. To find cheap solar cells, Power4Home suggests for us to search in Ebay.

If you really want to know whether Power 4 Home is a scam, just go to Ebay now and search for solar cells listing. If you can find 36 pieces of PV cells selling for less than $67.50, it will prove the accuracy of the figures in the manual. With that, you will be able to make your own conclusion.

Will Yap is a home renewable energy enthusiast and blog about residential green energy.

Different systems for generation of power by wind and solar heat have been available for purchase in the market for many years. There are no problems with the functioning of these systems but they will cost you a fortune and because of this reason alternate energy is not used widely in homes.

Here is where Power4Home is different from other products. With Power4Home you can put together a complete system for less than $200 and start generating your own power from it. This program is designed by John Russell who is an electrician by profession. Using his experience in the electric related industry, he has tried to make a system that would allow you to make your own energy with minimum amount of equipment and investment. He says that with his system he can teach you everything you need to know about generating your own electricity using wind and solar power. There is a 60 Days full money back guarantee if you do not like John Russel’s e-book.

The Power4Home system includes illustrated manuals that are not difficult to follow. There are also video instructions that you can follow. With this system you learn about 2 alternate renewable energy options: a DIY solar panel and a home windmill generator. After learning both you will be in a better position to decide which option is the best for you and is best according to the climate of where you are living. If you live in an area where there is sufficient sunlight then a solar panel is the better option and if your place has the right conditions for wind energy to work then you can go with the windmill option.

Using his experience he tells you about two devices that you can get from your electric company that normally cost 300$ and also gives information about a secret device that can cut your bill by another 40%.

Like other systems that are do it yourself (DIY), Power4Home will require a lot of your time and effort on you part. It’s understood that you have to be good with hand tools and wiring works. If you think you can follow the instructions given by John and build it yourself then fine otherwise you should outsource the work to a professional.

Power4Home is a system that allows you to create and store you own energy. This energy can be used to reduce your power bills. Solar and wind power systems normally cost $3,000 or more and even at that price they pay themselves off within a few years. The Power4Home system allows you to do the same for a fraction of that price.

Everyday our life starts with the function of electricity. We wake up in the morning hearing the sound of our electric alarm clock; then we switch on our PC to see the updates, turn on the television to see the news of the day. We need air conditioners, heaters and many more, and to run all these we need electricity.

The electric power we are using these days comes from the combustion of nonrenewable sources coal, petroleum and as the requirement is going up high; so is the electric bill. Moreover by using this black energy the environment is getting polluted day by day.

Power 4 Home System details (how it works)

Now all of us know that the way to produce green energy is using the solar panels but the expense of setting up a solar power system is pretty high and is no less than $1000. But at the same time you can escape the expense and still avail some green energy for yourself. This is what is explained at the Power 4 home system. Here you will learn the steps to set up the wind mills or solar panels at home within a reasonable budget.

Like the solar power system the traditional concepts says that to make a wind mill for generating wind power it costs nearly $1500. But with the proper use of technology that too can be reduced to $100. The process to use these two power plants is very easy you only have to put them at a certain position of your house and the energy will be coming to you.

Advantages

1. You are saving a huge amount of electricity bill for yourself.

2. The current that you get from this system is totally pollution free.

3. At the time of power failure you don’t have to wait anymore; you can easily store power for using it later.

4. You can spend your leisure time on building your own power plant which is sort of social work indeed.

5. It will give you a great amount of satisfaction as by doing this you are protecting the environment from the green house gases.

6. Many of your neighbors can also get benefited from your power plant.

7. You can even earn money by selling the excess power generated in your plant.

Disadvantages

Power 4 Home systems are totally dependent on the natural resources like sun and wind. So when there is a cloudy day you can suffer the chances of power failure. Hence you should always create the backup system for this. One more problem is that with heavy rainfall the systems can suffer damages which will create much inconvenience for you.
